Life is getting harder as exams will soon come in January….rasa sekejap je start belajar then now dah nak abih first semester…..errmm..time is moving so fast...

People here start busy preparing for Christmas celebration….shopping centres, TV adverts, full with Christmas sales, bla bla bla..

By the way, last Saturday, went on a university-organized-one-day trip to Newcastle…..so have a chance to view the 7 bridges of Newcastle Upon Thyne esp. one the most attraction bridge in Newcastle ie Millenium Bridge…but did not manage to go to many places since time was limited……kalau pergi sendiri, mesti ada extra time nak berjalan-jalan…but anyway, it was fun!!

New Place, New Friends, New People......

hello everyone....

waduh waduh.......wow..it's now october and my last post in this blog was in July..emm..bad..bad...hehehe....

no interesting update on xs, coz i am now becoming a FULL TIME STUDENT..uwaaaaaa........has been sooo long since i left school/university......luckily it will be for only year...emmm..insyaallah.....

on 17th september, finally me and DH & DD arrived in Heathrow Airport London (took about 13hours, since we were in Business Class, so asyik makan jee..ihihi.....supper then sahur...) .....alhamdulillah eveything went so smooth...........paling teruk pun we need to take off our shoes during the immigration clearance.....then took a connecting flight to Leeds/Bradford Airport and it was about near an hour......

alhamdulillah, now dah nearly settled down because we actually move to another house...we were in the previous house for about 2 weeks and later decided to move to another house on 6th october.....emm...macam2 dugaan.....so today is 12th october and we celebrated Hari Raya at our house which we just finished mopping the floor di pagi hari raya,...hahahahah...lagipun raya kat sini macam tak ada apa sgt...........tak ramai malaysian kat sini......but tomorrow morning we'll have Majlis Hari Raya with Malaysian students in Bradford.....emm....

anyway, wanna wish all of you...SELAMAT HARI RAYA.....MAAF ZAHIR BATIN....sambil makan ketupat, rendang, etc etc, ingat2 le org kat sini.......

It's already July....

Goshh.....................it's been so so sooo long that i didn't update this blog...not that i totally forgotten about it, but time is not on my side, not within this few months..or maybe even longer.....For those who are thinking whether this blog is still 'exist'..well.....here i am..reporting again to say a few lines.....

Really missed my stitching activities ie WIPs , SAL, etc...and of course my sweet little time chatting with my stitching buddies......i miss u guys.....don't have anything to say on my xs bcoz, all are now in 'hibernation' mood..not sure for how long...i hope it won't be forever.....definitely will start again on xs once everything is settled down but it might take even yeras.....hahahahahah.....eventhough my hands are very very 'itchy' to take the needle and hoop whenever i remember on this xs thing.....

However, i still managed to try my best to pay regular visits to my buddies' blogs and really i am very proud of you guys of your workmanship and especially those who came out with new project ie hardanger, gumi2, etc etc......soooo jealous that i haven't got or own any of these marvellous projects......bravo guys!!!

Super busy....

Emmm......it's been quite some time i didn't update this blog......it's not that i have forgotten this humble blog of mine..but been very super busy lately.......
Also due to my hectic timetable...i am very regret to inform my stitching bloggers that i need to quit from the current project ie the JE SAL 2007.....sorry u guys........hopefully, next time, insyaallah i'll join again ok.......

Akhirnya.....

Finally on the 8th May, the MDSE from Kak Da reached me.....and just a minute later, the red spring hoop came in..walllaaa..got 2 packages at almost the same time...emmm..bestnya, kalau selalu dpt cam ni..heheheheh

Wanted to load some of the shots taken, but last night, the line was very very very bad.............so now, i'll present to you....jeng ...jeng.... jeng...............

SAL..SAL..SAL

Arrgh..it's already day-7 in May, going to be day-8, in another 1 hour plus.....i'm still in a good track in stitching the JESAL......need to go stitch as many as possible, while my little DD is still away with her tok ma & tok abah in Kuala Terengganu, my hometown, coz this is the only time that i can fully concentrate on my stitching, if not, with the little naughty girl besides me....., emm...not much i can progress......she is my rate-limiting step in xs...hahahaha....sayang baby!!!
Have another bout 3-4 days before she'll come back to KL, most probably on this Thursday......errrmm...need to 'pulun' on my JESAL in these coming few days......heheheh.....before the little girl comes back to 'mengganazz' again.....hahahah

JE SAL 2007

Emmm..today May 1st, officially, is the Labour Day and also the start date for my new project, SAL Friendship Sampler by Joan Elliot with some of my stitching buddies. GOOD LUCK to US, geng!!!! Anyway, i've started to stitch it today, but feeling a little bit of 'panic' coz afraid that i can't complete within the stipulated time. Will try my very best to stitch it daily without fail, eventhough just a few stitches....hehehehh

This morning, went out to Masjid India to find a shop where DMC sold at rm1, but unfortunately, it was closed..Labour Day maaa......nevermind, will pay another visit next time.....

And also, in the afternoon, i've got a surprise visit from someone, yes..no joke, it was a 'very surprise' visit as my floor were so messy with the flosses, chart for SAL...hehhe..tengah bersemangattt!!!kekekek........nasib baik sempat kemaskan, if not, the lion also dah berserabut with the flosses.....

To my dear friend, THANK SO MUCH for the birthday gift (in advance...emm..another 24 days to go). I appreciate it very very muchhh....furthermore u came all the way to sent it to me...wish you can stay longer at my place so that we can borak boraks more........i hope our friendship will last long....insyaallah...

It's ready!!!

Not much progress on my xs as my parents were here in KL.......just a few lines of xs so far......

Anyway, my MDSE box is ready to be mailed out tomorrow morning..........it is now being wrapped in brown paper and hopefully if there is any kemek-kemek during the delivery, i hope it won't be very bad.......

Just a few things inside but the most important thing is, of course, i wish that my partner in Subang will be very glad to receive the MDSE box from me......Happy Mother's Day, As!!!!

There'll be no sneak preview yet until my partner received it...hihihihiih (has uploaded the pics...)

No updates....

Ermmmm.....no update from me laa for quite sometimes.....no new projects except just finished the gridding for my next coming SAL project with my lovely friends...........

By the way, Thanks a lot, for my dear friend, for the lovely dark blue pumpkin...well..it's my pumpkin...my labu....kekekek.....appreciate very much for that little gift.......

I'm actually also still in the middle...(or shud i say, almost to the finish line...heheheh) of preparing a bit of stash for my partner..that actually for our on-going project, MDSE which ends on this May 9th....hopefully sempat la i kejar (sebelum i dikejar oleh POnya......hahahahah)....by the way, nothing much left, just to put things accordingly in the box, then it's ready to be wrapped......and to be mailed out.......

Well, I'm now in the starting mood for my new xs project............tungguuuuu!!!

More bobbins....

During my lunch hour break, my colleague asked whether want to join her to SS2 or not.....woww...bagai orang mengantuk disorongkan bantal....kikikikiki....looks like i need to break my promise for not going to any craft shops...at least until the end of the month...hahahahah

So, while she was with her dentist, i then go and meet people in CW...so, got 4 packs of bobbins (since i still have floss yg togel..), some buttons and ribbon.....well..well...it's 'bobbin'ging time againnnnn.....

Lenguhnyaa....

Fuhhh....lenguhnya tangan......just finished menggulung floss ke bobbins......that was about almost 50 bobbins for tonite......later need to get more bobbins since ada lagi some floss yang belum di'bobbin'kan....

Well....today is my hubby's birthday so Happy Birthday, Abang!!!! And next month, will be our little naughty daughter's and of course, me, myself's turn, ie on 13th & 25th May.....DD will be 3 yrs old and aiyaaa..for her mama also....i'll be reaching the figure 3, no more in my 20's........

Tomorrow, no plan to any craft shops, either HW, CW or JS....since 2 weeks in a row, i went to HW, then last week to CW n JS......so, this weekend, looks like it's HW turn...hahahhaha......by the way, i've heard from my stitching friends that DMC variation flosses have finally here in Malaysia, ie there are already in HW...emmm.....so, nevermind........need to have my Article 117 DMC strands to complete then later will think about Variations .......can i wait for that??..hahahahah

Sunyi....

Sunyi.....emmm...ye la...these few days mmg sunyi sket...either kat my YG, as well as my '1-week-not-updated-blog'....hahahahah......not that i didn't 'visit' my blog daily.....is just that, nothing much to say bout my xs progress these days.....

but, last saturday, managed to visit Jet Sun, Selvam & Selvan (hehe..it's 2 different selva, remember...) at Money River....kikikikiki.....bought some DMC floss (again...), a pre-cut aida and Cross Stitcher May issue with a thread cutter as the freebie....

oppsss....before that ....ie last Friday, sempat jugak visit CW during my lunch hour break and picked up 1/2 metre of interfacing material and ribbon....

anyway.....need to prepare things for my next exchange...emmm...apa la nak bagi to my partner....still figuring it out.....

Hehehehe......happynyeee......coz actually, i've found my 'missing' marker last nite.....hahahahaha.......was about to mark my aida 14ct.....then terus je capai hujung pen yg. terjulur dari bawah keyboard pc...tarik punye tarik..rupe-rupenya, it's my pen.......very the excited sgt ....kekekeke...cannot believe that all this while marker tu dok sembunyi bawah keyboard..ishh ish ishh....

it's true laa dania....just pretend that you are not looking/searching for something which has lost....coz at last, we kind of 'accidently' TERjumpa again.......emmm or maybe next time i need to dig out our Combi's belly first, is it?....hahahahahhaha

Lost....

Oh gosshh.............i've lost my marker.......since last nite, i was teribbly looking for my Clover water-soluble marker which i bought from CW previously...........dah le mahal (of course when compared to normal marker....)

I cannot do much on xs this weekend...donno why.....maybe bcoz the marker was missing and my mood on xs also missing......i was just planning to conteng-conteng a bit my Unifil 25ct & my evenweave 28ct (bought from CW earlier together with the missing marker.....uwaaaa...) since i've never use them before......very challenging for me with the minute little boxes (but remember..that is only just 25 & 28ct....can't imagine if i wanna do on 32ct .........) but luckily they are STILL evenweave, not raw linen....hehehehe....

so, should i get a new water-soluble pen/marker??

More aida from H&W.....

Don't know what's happening to Blogger.....coz last nite, dah post 1 new posting but it has 'dissappeared' and also tried to upload pics...but failed!!!

Today, again cuba upload pics..this time, pics got uploaded BUT the quality are very very bad once they are inside Blogger...... then later, tried again, baru ok....ishhh....

So i need to start again.....
Yesteday, managed to go to Haby n Wool....Jenny said she will open at 11.30 am so while waiting, bought a few things at other shop. Then after 12o'clock, baru bukak.....so as usual, mesti nak cuci mata tengok semua barang kat kedai tu....i won't get bored to see all those flosses, books, charts, etc etc etc.....

Was planning to see some evenweave fabrics but finally i ended up with aida 16 &18 and just before i paid, accidently came accross a pre-cut evenweave ie DMC Unifil 25ct (as in H&W they only have evenweave Unifil 25ct)...with only small piece of fabric and it was just fine for me as a beginner who wants to start on 'other-than-aida' fabric.....hehhe..far far away, left behind from my other stitcher friends....ekekekekek...but, nevermind......everybody is a first-timer, right....

So, this is what i've got from Haby & Wool.....

so, probably tonite will start to check the DMC code list against the codes yg baru received tu......still lot more to go......haiyyaaa....need to start bobbin'ging' again....oh nooo.......

Bobbins...

On Saturday, i just stay at home..tak pergi mana-mana pun...so apa lagi.....time to gulung floss to bobbins.....waiyyaaa...dah selonggok floss yg. masih tak gulung......that's bcoz, i just bought the organizer recently so tak sempat lagi nak gulung.....lgpun, just finish with the pendibulle thing and now baru legaaa skett.....

for 2 days, i only managed to gulung almost 50 skeins..still got some left......later will continue bit by bit....

eerrgghhh...in a few days day time i'll be getting a package from a friend full with skeins.....arrghhh....need to start menggulung again...

I got it....

Had a meeting early on the morning today.....after meeting adjourned, saw a brown-colored package on my desk...emmm..i think i know what is inside...
yess.....it's my pendibulle from my exchange partner, Haniliza.....it's soo comel......thanks Hani.....like it a lot.........

Now it's 100%...

Yeeaaa.....finally my pendibulle to my partner dah siap...eventhough just left the last part...gosshhh..it was the toughest step for me......susahnya nak tie up the ribbon.........need to re-do again the riben..and akhirnya siap juga.....legaa.....nyway, will post it next week...hope it'll reach my partner before the 31st March...hehehe...

my little daugther keeps asking me, apa tu ma...emm mcm karipap...with her own 'pelat'..kikikik..so cute....well..yaa...pendibulle looks like a karipap though....*wink*

95% done....

Alhamdulillahh...leganye.....at last at 11pm, my pendibulle dah siap...just left to tie up the ribbon je.....i'm not going to post to my partner yet (still have another week before the due) as i wanna show my masterpiece to DH (as he was not around when i completely siap this pendibulle).......hey man....look what your wife has done...a cute lilltle pendibulle......the first ever pendibulle made....yeeaahaaaa.....

will post the pics of the pendibulle later when i completely 100% done with it....

I'm back...

Fuhh....so tired....just came back from my hometown for my brother's wedding to a Johorean girl....

Nothing much to say on my xs project.....now tengah struggle untuk siapkan my first pendibulle for my exchange activity. Hopefully i can make it by the due date which is END of March...aarrgghhhh.........

By the way, this is my latest project on beadstitch which i've completed it about 2 weeks ago.....it took quite long for me to finish it up..heheheh....finally bila siap, tak tau pulak bila nak frame...heheheh..just wait and see laa.....

And this is my latest stash..bought from CW recently...it's a basket and bobbins organizer box.....bila la agaknya nak penuh i punya box tu with bobbins....

First Exchange

The project for my first exchange activity was a Scissors Fob Exchange. Tak pernah terfikir utk join activity macam ni.....dah le tu, tak pernah buat benda2 mcm ni....alhamdulillah, berjaya juga buat this fob. Need to stitch for someone in Ampang, and luckily she's happy with the fob i sent to her......legaaa.....

Organizer

emm....penatnye hari ni....tengahari tadi pergi Craft World, then at last beli jugak the floss box organizer plus bobbins, and also berkenan jugak dan basket utk simpan WIPs, or tools....later will upload the pics of.....

up to today, no WIPs going around, except for a mini project, ie pendibulle, (which i haven't started anything yet...hehh).....hope boleh siap by the due date....

WELCOME to my World of Cross Stitching.........

At last......finally i came out with this simple blog of mine...heheheheh.....never think of creating any blog before...but since quite a number of my stitcher friends already have their own blogs, so i was 'encouraged' by them to create one for me...hahahahah

Here, i'll be talking 'bout Cross Stitching, which i really love to do (it's just a matter of time which do not allow me...) and maybe some other stuffs.....

My passion for cross stiching ni mmg start dari dulu lagi.The very first xs project was done during primary school..dah lupa standard berapa..tapi, what I can remember was that, the project was under Tunas Puteri aka Girl's Scout project…unfortunately, the project tu dah lama missing in action……

Then a few years back, in year 2001 (or was it 2002..), xs muncul kembali dalam hidup ku….heheheheh…..but tak boleh jugak buat byk coz masa tu I don’t have anyone to share this hobby with me…and also masa tu, masih tak tau kat mana ada craft shops yg best yg supply things related to xs…..

But now, beginning end of 2006, again dah start rasa excited towards xs when i 'met' these few bunches of 'friendly virtual friends'...….and here I am…………..i’m actually still very very amatur lagi..tp tak kisah laa..as long as I can do xs…heheheheh...

From that day onward, my love in xs started to bloom again...

By the way, i also had done 1 beadstitch project ......and another 1 just finished it a few days ago...thank god..siap jugak akhirnyaa....yeehaaa.........
